More Quezon City (QC) residents can now receive financial aid from their local government via PayMaya as Quezon City announced a faster way to register under its Kalingang QC program. The Quezon City local government has previously tapped PayMaya for the disbursement of allowances for its student scholars. It was among the first LGUs to utilize digital payments via PayMaya for more efficient delivery of government services.
Senior citizens, persons with disability, and solo parents can register through the Kalingang QC online payout site (http://qceservices.quezoncity.gov.ph/) and just choose PayMaya as payment method option. They just need to input their mobile number linked to their PayMaya accounts. Creating a PayMaya account is also easy as they can just download the app to register to be able to access a wide array of digital financial services.
Encashing funds will also be more convenient with PayMaya as the beneficiaries can simply go to any one of the over 30,000 Smart Padala agents near them. They can also use the funds they have received to buy groceries online, purchase airtime load and data packages, send money to their relatives anywhere in the country, transfer to any of the more than 40 InstaPay bank partners or withdraw from any Bancnet ATM using a PayMaya physical card.
